Olympic Deception Recap

The lamestream media told you:

Little.

The Uninvited Ombudsman notes however that:

By now even closed-minded TV viewers know that the only reason they could see the Olympics at all was because the Chinese dictators shut down industry and vehicle traffic for weeks so the air was at least partially transparent.

What many couch potatoes have not recognized is that nearly everything they watched had already happened, the results were known, and the timing of the event they saw was completely artificial and managed.

NBC did a great job of hiding this primary fact by refusing to put "Live" and "Recorded" on any of the broadcasts. This made it seem more real, a cool deception that enhanced enjoyment at the expense of honesty.

Did you notice that the smoke cleared immediately after fireworks displays? That's because as soon as the flash ended production crews spent hours editing the recordings.

Did you notice that team scores advanced, like, a real lot, between commercials? That's because production crews edited out large chunks of the game so you didn't have to stay up late and watch the whole boring thing.

Did you wonder how so many thousands of people could "volunteer" their time for nine months to practice for the spectacular opening and closing ceremonies? That's because dictators can command the presence of anyone they choose, for as long as they choose, under any conditions they choose, and if you argue, you know you can be simply killed.

Did you wonder what it would be like to face an army of those one-size-fits-all nattily dressed synchronized people? That concept wasn't lost on the dictators strutting around on the "world stage" created by the media. The communist dictators fielded more "entertainers" than machine guns have belts.

Did you notice they were all good looking? That's because unattractive ones were weeded out of the "volunteer" corps and sent home.

Did you notice how the entire staging of the ceremonial events deemphasized the role of individuals, and how the main thing that mattered was the coordinated effort of the collective whole? That communist principle was at the heart of the design.

Do you think any free society could even come close to matching the scope or spectacle the dictators were able to muster? Could a free society even mount the will and financial resources to assemble, house, clothe, feed and control that many people for that long?

Communist Knife Crackdown

The lamestream media told you:

A team of Chinese and Tibetan mountain climbers proudly displayed a special Olympic torch atop Mt. Everest, in a promotional effort to boost the legitimacy of the games. The actual torch is being carried through every province in China, scheduled to reach Beijing two days before the start of the games.

The Uninvited Ombudsman notes however that:

Communist Red China announced on May 6 that knife owners must be registered when they buy "potentially deadly knives," according to the Xinhua communist state news agency and relayed by Reuters, to help protect the safety of the games in the world's largest communist dictatorship: http://www.mps.gov.cn.

Some observers believe that staged elections in the one-party state mean it is not a dictatorship. Reuters calls officials there "Communist rulers."

Among the knives that require citizens to be government listed are those with undefined "blood grooves," those with blades exceeding eight inches, and lock knives, presumably the type that any average American citizen might have in a pocket.

According to Reuters, "China, whose Communist rulers value stability above all else, has come down hard on anyone they fear could upset the Games, from people protesting against the demolition of their houses for venues, to the country's sometimes restless ethnic minorities."

Though the worthless fluff of the alternate-torch-on-a-cold-high-mountain news was widely carried, news of the knife crackdown fell into a hole.

Olympic Shooting Champion

The lamestream media told you:

Unruly demonstrators attacked the Olympic torch relay in this city, and in that city, and enroute to a ship, and it had to detour, and be hidden from view, and blah blah blah diplomats are upset.

The Uninvited Ombudsman notes however that:

Three-time Olympic athlete Lones W. Wigger, now 70, has been officially inducted into the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame. Mr. Wigger competed in 1964 in Tokyo, 1968 in Mexico, and 1972 in Munich, where he took two gold medals and one silver medal in -- rifle shooting. The induction ceremony is set for June 19 in Chicago.

In a 25-year career, he won 13 gold medals and five silvers at the Pan American games, and 111 medals in total while setting 29 world records in international competition. His achievements are a great honor for America, the Olympics, the shooting sports in general, and are more newsworthy than a media circus over a torch. The lamestream media didn’t get the memo.

French Turnaround Possible

The lamestream media told you:
"Nicolas Sarkozy, a blunt and uncompromising pro-American conservative was elected president of France on Sunday," the AP reports on page ones across the country.

"There were few reports of unrest, despite fears that the impoverished suburban housing projects, home to African and Arab immigrants and their French-born children would erupt again," in a repeat of 2005 rioting. The AP questions whether Sarkozy can "unite the increasingly diverse and polarized nation."

The Uninvited Ombudsman notes however that:
Nicolas Sarkozy, a forthright and uncompromising pro-freedom politician was elected president of France on Sunday, despite smears and editorializing in lamestream "news" reports. He defeated a make-nice appeasement-bent socialist female for the position.

Growing enclaves of Muslim separatists, operating under their own sharia law in French suburbs, have resisted all efforts to assimilate into French society, which they consider un-Islamic and unclean.

Referred to as "youths" in French media, the jihad agents and sympathizers continue to take advantage of the French welfare state, collecting "free" money from overtaxed Frenchmen, and executing any of their members who show even slight signs of affinity for French culture. Police are unable and unwilling to attempt entry into the violent, illegally fortified Muslim housing projects that used to serve as government homes for imported laborers.

Experts note that these people, called "scum" by Sarkozy, are spreading their umma, or worldwide Muslim coalition, bent on establishing a caliphate on the Continent as they had in the 700 A.D. era. The non-Muslim French are known as kaffir, a term applied to all non-believers, whose purpose under sharia law is to be converted, enslaved or put to death.

Although a caliphate is the expressed goal of the Muslim immigrants, French and U.S. "news" outlets refuse to call a spade a spade, preferring euphemisms like downtrodden immigrant, youth, and impoverished disenfranchised Africans and Arabs.

By some estimates, the high-birth rate Muslims, facing low birth-rate French, are within two generations of taking over the country and moving it backwards to a middle-ages Islamic foothold in the heart of Western civilization.

Darfur Gun Controls

The lamestream media told you:
The genocide of unarmed victims in Darfur is unfathomably bad, but no one has acted to stop it, the U.N. has failed to issue any meaningful sanctions against the openly racist Islamist dictatorship in Khartoum perpetrating it, or to even call it a genocide.

More than two million people have been brutally murdered so far, many by "Janjaweed" Arab militias acting for the dictatorship, with its support. The dead are largely black Christian and Animist Africans in the southern part of the country, though black Muslims, considered inferior by the ruling clique, have fallen as well.

The Uninvited Ombudsman notes however that:
The current Notre Dame Law Review (Vol. 81, No. 4) points out that national gun-control statutes for the Darfur victims effectively prevent self defense. A permit applicant must be over 30 years old, have specified social and economic status, and be physically examined by a doctor. A handgun owner can legally purchase only 15 rounds of ammunition a year, hardly enough to gain any level of proficiency. Violation of the gun control laws include severe penalties, ranging up to execution by the government.

In contrast, the dictatorship conducting the genocide supplies its Janjaweed proxy army of Arab militants with more guns than they can carry, including machine guns. It then supports attacks on defenseless villagers with aerial bombardment, to soften them up prior to ground assault.

Written by David B. Kopel, Paul Gallant and Joanne D. Eisen, the extensively researched article, "Is Resisting Genocide a Human Right?" breaks new ground on the rights of mass-slaughter victims to act against their government in their own defense. It was largely ignored by the lamestream media. The international community essentially tolerates or even facilitates genocide through squabbling, inaction and feckless sanctions that save no lives. Read the abstract here.

They conclude that although smuggling arms to a population facing genocide would undoubtedly violate gun-control laws of the genocidal state, acting to prevent such arms transfers would make a state or other entity complicit in the genocide, in direct violation of the official Genocide Convention of 1948, current U.N. protocols and binding international law.

Muslims In Darfur

The lamestream media told you:
The fighting and atrocities in Darfur are getting so bad politicians worldwide don't know what to do. The United Nations would send in troops, but Sudan will not allow them in, presumably so they can continue to rape and execute militias and the people of Darfur. A cry to have U.S. forces summarily invade the troubled region has been ignored by the State Dept. so far, which labels the situation a genocide.

The Uninvited Ombudsman notes however that:
The Muslim government in Sudan appears determined to wipe out the Muslims in the Darfur region, because they hate each other. All the combatants are Black. The racial and religious nature of the conflict has been blacked out in virtually all mainstream news reports, but can be found easily by entering Darfur Muslims into a search engine, further enhancing the web's reputation for actually delivering news. Reporters either cannot do web searches for unknown reasons, or are suppressing the racial and religious information for unknown reasons.

Muslim nations that proliferate in the area have declined to step in and stop the Islamic warfare, for unknown reasons.

The deliberate suppression of context in the African nation's troubles might hurt news-media credibility, experts speculate. Because the average news consumer is clueless as to what is really going on, credibility may not be hurt, other experts believe.

Criminal Immigrants Mislabeled

The lamestream media told you:
"Moroccan immigrants die crossing Strait of Gibraltar," reports Mar Roman for the AP, in a story carried nationwide on 9/10/06. The migrant tragedy has taken hundreds of lives, as smugglers and relatives work feverishly to abandon grinding poverty and reach the shores of Spain, across a treacherous stretch of water. As many as 4,500 bodies of these unlucky immigrants have washed up in the straits since 2002, AP reports.

The Uninvited Ombudsman notes however that:
Hundreds of "illegal" immigrants have died trying to sneak into Spain without authorization, paperwork or any plans for their future. These Muslims invading from the south are responsible for the horrific conditions of their homeland, and those who succeed in infiltrating into Spain, remain in cloistered enclaves, perpetuate their primitive and sometimes barbaric behavior, treat women like chattel, and are causing political unrest among Hispanic natives.

AP reporter Mar Roman refers to immigrants, migrants and passengers nine times, without ever using the adjective "illegal." The reason for the omission is unclear.

Chinese Censorship Tightens

The lamestream media told you:
"China imposed broad new restrictions Sunday on the distribution of foreign news in the country," according to Joseph Kahn, writing for the New York Times on 9/11/06. "News-oriented websites have been able to skirt censorship procedures that old-line media must follow in China, a one-party system," he says. "President Hu Jintao has intensified a crackdown on all kinds of news media in recent months, arresting and harassing journalists, editors, and hiring tens of thousands of screeners for web content deemed offensive."

The Uninvited Ombudsman notes however that:
Communist Red China, an iron-fisted vicious dictatorship characterized blandly by The New York Times and lamestream media as "a one-party system," is again crushing the population's ability to learn anything outside the party line. The reasons for sugar-coating the dictators' actions is unknown.

Already infamous for adopting a censored version of Google for its tightly controlled Internet operations, party leaders are alarmed that foreign news is still leaking in. No news of summary executions, a standard tool of the ruling clique, has leaked out.

The fate of the tens of thousands of screeners who must read the banned news to censor it, was unknown at press time.

Obrador Won't Quit

The lamestream media told you:
"Mexico's leftist presidential candidate, who is contesting his rival's election victory, told followers Sunday that he plans to draft a new Constitution," says Theresa Braine of the AP. "Obrador has said he will never recognize a victory by Calderon, and will declare himself the alternative president," claiming fraud and dirty tricks robbed him of the presidency.

The Uninvited Ombudsman notes however that:
I told you so.

The real problem now is how far behind Mexico's innovative election approach the U.S. might be. The losing party in our last two elections is closely aligned with Obrador's sentiments, but has not staged the crippling takeover of the largest city in the nation, which Obrador had the gore to instigate.

Drug Lieutenants Promoted

The lamestream media told you:
U.S. authorities acting on a tip boarded a fishing boat off the Mexican coast and captured suspected drug kingpin Arellano Felix, reputed leader of the Arellano Felix organization, according to the Dallas Morning News.

"This guy happens to be one of the 45 most notorious, most wanted drug traffickers in the world," Mike Braun of the DEA said.

Mexican authorities said Arturo Villareal, arrested at the same time, was more significant.

The Uninvited Ombudsman notes however that:
The arrest of one or two of the top 100 drug traffickers in the world will have no measurable affect on the drug trade, no impact on the staff sizes or government spending lavished on the war on some drugs, or on drug use. The story was an announcement by government officials, with no actual reporting involved.

The organizations of these two reputed leaders are intact and unaffected. Now, unnamed lieutenants will move up the chain of command for promotions, without the usual need to murder their superiors, thanks to the efforts of the official "anti-drug" warriors. In that sense, the officials may have saved some lives.

It was not clear at press time if the next most dangerous 45 drug trafficking leaders liked being ranked as second tier, or if the official rankings were accurate. The loss of about 2% of the leadership was laughably small, someone said on condition of anonymity.

In familiar reporting style, the only important questions were not asked, let alone answered. For example, "With regard to the war on drugs, is the war succeeding? When could it be declared a success, the expense of waging it cease, and the tax-based infrastructure surrounding it be decreased or dismantled? If it can't be declared a success, when might it be declared a failure and brought to a close? How do you respond to critics who say the war on some drugs is really a federal-agents jobs program, and price supports for the drug dealers?"
