"An elderly Canadian couple owns a townhouse on my street in Scottsdale, Ariz., and uses it for a winter residence.  As I was standing in my driveway recently on a 109-degree day, a woman I didn't recognize came out of the house, walked over, and introduced herself as the daughter of the couple.  The forty-something woman was staying at the house with her younger brother, who was recuperating from having half his nose removed in cancer surgery at a local hospital.

"After commiserating with the woman, I asked why he didn't have the surgery in his native country of Canada.  She said that because of the long wait times for diagnosis and treatment in Canada, the cancer wasn't diagnosed in time to avoid the gruesome surgery and would have spread and killed him if he had waited for treatment at home.   It was better to pay for the surgery out of their own pockets, she said, than take a chance in their home country.

"When I expressed shock over this, she shocked me even more with what she said next.  With a shrug of the shoulders, she said, 'Oh well, at least everyone has health insurance in Canada.'

The U.S. reporting on the apparent death of Osama Bin Laden was disgraceful. A single fact was used for endless hours of repetitious and vacuous reporting. No new news is big news to the “news” media, once big news is released.

The U.S. public was treated to thousands of repetitious images of a vile criminal smiling, shooting guns, holding meetings, teaching, walking -- it was a horrendous tribute to a horrendous criminal, remorselessly played for the public ad nauseum. The repetitious-image approach mimicked the "reporting" of the suspect in the Tucson shooting of Gabrielle Giffords for reasons that were unclear at press time.

Images of Navy Seals training, shooting, swimming, running, deploying in multiple environments from multiple departure vehicles --  the real heroes in the event -- were not shown, because there was no time left after all the stock images of the dead guy day after day, according to experts.

No facts emerged for days, especially the most important facts that were immediately available -- the reaction of Osama's supporters -- vicious and dedicated muslim enemies of the U.S. in nearly 70 nations.

We do know that when the twin towers were attacked in 2001, our muslim arch-enemies, who Mr. Obama assures us we are not at war with, were dancing in the streets and giving out candy. Virtually no muslim stood up to condemn the attack back then, casting doubt on Obama's Osama assertions.

According to at least half of America, Mr. Obama may believe we are not at war with muslims, but muslims believe they are at war with us.

Rumors of Americans now going about fully armed all the time, to deter possible muslim reprisals cannot be confirmed, since smartly armed people do not give up tactical advantage easily.

Al Jazeera TV, available to anyone with an Internet connection, ate the U.S. media's lunch on the issue. While American talking heads were speculating and pontificating, and congratulating themselves on the glorious but ten-year-late victory, Al Jazeera was on the ground in muslim country after muslim country, covering what's going on in the belly of the beast. No grandstand cheering could be found from the religion of peace, now that its most prominent figure was apparently disposed of and, in true Mafia style, turned into fish bait.

Contrary to the words of Mr. Obama, Osama bin laden was not brought to justice, a tasteful euphemism preferred by girliemen in a position of power. He was put to death, a significant difference, especially to the dead person, according to leading experts who refused to be identified. The same experts point out that Obama's Osama victory was due in large measure to Obama's predecessors. Obama's actions in office actually severely weakened our fight against muslims, a fact easily studied with a simple Google search (banning effective interrogations, reducing assets, changing language and terms to protect the religion of peace from oprobrium, etc.).

According to Al Jazeera sources, locals reported a heavy-duty mission underway, with multiple helicopters running with lights off. Contributors in Pakistan (pronounced pock-EE-ston according to Obama) had long believed he was long dead. No clear representation of how much ISI -- Pakistani intelligence -- were involved, and if they were, unclear what reprisals that might generate.

Real news agencies would have Arabic-speaking reporters attending mosques around the world and reporting on what was going on there, you think?

Biden Disburses Cash

The lamestream media told you:

CHISINAU, Moldova -- U.S. vice president Joe Biden, fresh off a tough speech on Russian human rights, sided firmly Friday with Moldova's Europe-minded leader over opponents pressing for closer ties to Moscow... As the first U.S. vice president ever to visit Moldova, he pledged $262 million in aid over five years, according to Jonathan Weisman, writing for the Wall Street Journal. The story got coverage from most lamestream outlets in America.

An exhaustive study shows that vice president Joe Biden lacks any power or authority whatsoever to promise money to, well, anyone, actually, including tiny Moldova, the poorest country in Europe, which may seek to become a member of the failing European Union.

The U.S. Constitution delegates spending to acts of Congress, and Congress did not act, or reportedly even know about the vice president's plan to abscond with more than a quarter billion dollars of taxpayer funds and give them away. The former communist-dominated nation has untold numbers of former communists still in power, a point which went unmentioned in "news" coverage.

No arrests have been made or are expected, and no investigation is planned because, "He's the vice president for Pete's sake," according to one unnamed co-conspirator, confirming remarks from three bureaucrats who will be writing the checks to Moldova, using your money and mine. Public outrage among U.S. citizens, well, there wasn't any, because it happens so often the public has grown weary.

Time.com reported that: "Anyone living within firing range of Biden's route through the capital city, Chisinau, was ordered to lock up their guns. Manhole covers were soldered shut to make sure no bad guys could spring from the sewers. Volunteers handed out little American flags..."

Healthcare Poll Nonsense

Steven Thomma, writing for the McClatchy newspaper chain says, "A majority of Americans want Congress to keep the new health-care law or actually expand it, despite Republican claims that they have a mandate from the people to kill it, according to a new McClatchy Newspapers-Marist poll. Polls like this are nonsense on their face, since even the members of Congress who signed the gigantic bill don't know what's in it. Asking people what they think of something they know nothing about is scandalous just on logical grounds.

Reporting about a bogus and manipulative propaganda effort like this might have merit. Using it as a news story, to provide support for a politician's waning popularity, is as serious an ethical breech as
flat out lying. The all-too-common reporter excuse that, "I accurately reported what the survey said," is no excuse and just adds to the embarrassing humiliation that has become U.S. "news."

It's not known if the reporter helping to perpetrate the hoax was aware of how bad this is, or if he was duped just like his readers. It was not known at press time if any of the survey respondents could name even a dozen of the hundreds of provisions in the massive bill they say they like, or describe even a single item in it with any degree of accuracy.

Health Care Freedom

The lamestream media told you:

“Missouri Votes Against Health-Care Reform,” according to the Associate Press story following the Missouri primary elections.

The Uninvited Ombudsman notes however that:

Missouri didn’t vote against health-care reform, Missouri voted in favor of health-care freedom. They agreed with the 70% of the public who want to stop an out-of-control federal government’s attempt to takeover America’s health care system.

“The AP routinely skews their reports to protect the government and chastise we the people,” according to a leading news expert. “It’s as plain as day, but the AP of course denies it, despite the ink on the pages they circulate to the public.”

Missing in all the reports was any mention of a total lack of authority for government to control the health care system, or of a human being’s inherent right to do business with any doctor as the doctor and patient see fit.

Such things are strictly controlled by the U.S. Constitution, which grants no authority to regulate health care, or run departments dedicated to regulating agriculture, education or energy. Despite constant usurpations of such forbidden powers, no arrests have been made or are expected.

Pandemics Wimp Out

The lamestream media told you:

Be very afraid of the coming disease disasters, from the flu to AIDS, which could wipe out most of the world. Get your safety-serum vaccinations today.

Doctors' Offices Invaded

The lamestream media told you:

The historic health-care reform bill passed after 100 years of effort.

The Uninvited Ombudsman notes however that:

The new federal health-care takeover bill passed after groundbreaking manipulation, coercion, kickbacks and bribery, all of which have gone unpunished. Doctors and patients (i.e., virtually all Americans) are scheduled to be hammered by the bill when its health care hits the fan over the next eight years (a new law-making stunt -- delayed implementation). You can find the bill on thomas.gov using its number, widely omitted from lamestream reports, H.R. 3590.

Unreported in the floods of reporting on this monumental reorganization of America is the fact that a new standard has entered the halls of Congress. How either party will resist the new model of getting votes by making gigantic unequal offers to select "representatives" is unclear, and undoing the harm caused by this corrupt practice, now a new benchmark for moving legislation, is unknown at press time. Wait... it's not that new, it's just bigger and more blatant than ever.

Identities of the reported 32 million people who will receive medical treatment at the expense of everyone else was unavailable at press time, and the actual number is unsubstantiated. Rumors that many of these people are in the country illegally were not denied by anyone. Whether these people actually want or need health insurance is unknown, especially since the identities of the people is a mystery.

Receiving virtually no attention, mind numbing piles of cash handouts called "grants" are strewn throughout the bill, according to the 21-page table of contents, including such gems as "Workforce Diversity Grants," an umbrella category of "Grants to States," "Community Transformation Grants" which will be determined later based on applications from non profits and "community service groups" and others, "Adult Protective Service Grants," and buckets of money for people and groups who know how to apply to get it. Other grants are hidden under other headings, such as grants tucked into the lengthy "Elder Justice" section.

Somewhere in the bowels of bureaucracy is someone who knows what this is: "Application Of Coding Intensity Adjustment During MA Payment Transition," but you sure can't tell from reading the item. That's true of virtually the entire bill, but it didn't stop your "representatives" from voting for it. If your legislators voted for it and didn't know what it was, that's malfeasance, and grounds for removal from office -- without waiting for another election to do so.

Do not trust anyone who says they've read the bill, since they're lying. The bill cannot be read in the normal sense of the word. It must be dissected and arduously cross referenced to gain any understanding of most of it. For example: "(J) Section 137 of such Code is amended—(i) by striking ‘‘section 23(d)’’ in sub-section (d) and inserting ‘‘section 36C(d)’’, and 4 (ii) by striking ‘‘section 23’’ in sub-section (e) and inserting ‘‘section 36C’’. I am not making this up.

Some parts even include English but are equally undecipherable: " ‘‘(3) Health Insurance.—The term ‘health insurance’ shall not include—‘‘(A) any insurance coverage described in paragraph (1)(A) or (3) of section 9832(c) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986..." You too can randomly pick out sections like this, try it, it's fun, they're everywhere.

It should be noted that the four or five key talking points of the bill, which dominated "news" coverage the entire time, can be put into law in a mere few pages, hiding the fact that the 2,400 pages of this bill contains astounding levels of government growth, new bureaucracy, and massive controls over the public and private industry.

For example: "No person shall be denied the right to buy any kind of legal insurance from any legal provider in the nation," can be spelled out in a page or two (or one sentence, as the Uninvited Ombudsman has just done). It could also be re-cast to be more effective: "Any person who denies a citizen the right to buy legal insurance from any legal provider in the world shall be imprisoned or fined." Every "news" talking point can be made that simple.

Thankfully, the "news" is finally talking about finding out what's in the bill, now that it's too late, and bragging about dictates they are finding -- like the requirement for restaurants to analyze and publish the nutritional content of their meals, an obvious desperately needed health care reform the president must have been talking about when he failed to mention it (sic).

The same applies to virtually every other ballyhooed feature in this extraordinarily socialist usurpation of power. A new book, Intellectual Terrorism, to be available from Bloomfield Press soon, suggests jail terms for legislators who introduce or support socialist legislation harmful to the United States.

Obama Welcomes AIDS

The lamestream media told you:

The United Nations is praising the United States and South Korea for lifting travel bans on people with HIV and is urging 57 other countries with travel restrictions to end them. U.S. President Barack Obama signed a bill late last year to overturn a 22-year-old travel and immigration ban against people with the virus that causes AIDS, and it came into force on Jan.3. http://tinyurl.com/yl8q6pd. "If we want to be the global leader in combating HIV/AIDS, we need to act like it," Obama said at the White House before signing.

The Uninvited Ombudsman notes however that:

Allowing people to simply enter the United States with a highly contagious, virtually untreatable and lethal disease is praiseworthy... how exactly?

"More than 1 million people live with HIV/AIDS in the U.S., and more than 56,000 new infections are reported every year," says the Huffington Post, which notes that having the disease carries with it a social stigma, but failed to note the death-rate stigma -- 6,000 people daily, according to Harold Pollack writing for The New Republic Online. It would be a front-page story, he said, but after 30 years it has become "boring." Maybe this new health-care policy of Mr. Obama can breathe some life back into the moribund subject.

Dangerous health care insanity spreads

If the news media would report on the CONTENTS of the proposed federal health care takeover (see details below) it would die in a day. People would rise up, as they did over the recent illegal-alien amnesty attempt, and demand defeat.

Instead, the media reports meaningless drivel, politicking, promises, compromises, party squabbles and leaves out the substance of this incredibly bad hostile takeover of your doctor's office, complete with end-your-life paperwork issued by bureaucrats, denial of service, strict rationing, cash penalties for selecting your own doctors or treatment.

Gun-Rights Linkage: With this much total control over your medical and financial records, there's a very short step between automated analysis of your "fitness" to keep and bear arms, and the various prohibited-possessor lists the government is keeping and recommending. That's just my idle observation, the bill does not explicitly address it in any way.

First off, it's impossible to spend a trillion dollars, when your treasury is already demolished by debt, without making your deficit worse, even a moron can see that (proof that morons don't work for the AP).

I make a living studying and describing laws. I've spot checked this man Fleckstein's work below, he is a little blustery, but he is accurate. The media has avoided just about all of this, preferring instead to spread he-said-she-said silliness and posturing, keeping you and the nation in the dark. CNN, FOX, the networks -- none of them are covering the real content of the bill!

If politicians somehow get away with passing this atrocity, the federal government will create an impenetrable barrier to medical service, countless bureaucrats will take over life-and-death power of every aspect of medical care, and they will wreak havoc on nearly 20% of our already frail economy. As you age, your value will be calculated and your access to health care will drop.

Remember -- there is no delegated constitutional authority for any of this: powers delegated to the federal government do not include running an insurance company, regulating what medical care you can get, where you can go for medical treatment, how much you can pay, what sort of treatments you can select, or punishing you or your employer for deciding on your own health care.

We are supposed to have a government of limited delegated powers; if government can do whatever it pleases, without constraint, as they are about to do with your medicine, that's as tyrannical as it gets -- we no longer have a limited government as we should, the basis of our freedom. Pick up your phone, finally, call your representatives, and demand they stop this insane and unlawful intrusion into your doctor's office. At least call your doctor. Do it. Ask for their advice.

Bad Vaccine Safe

The lamestream media told you:

"More than a million doses of a common vaccine given to babies as young as 2 months were being recalled because of contamination risks, but the top U.S. health officials said it was not a health threat," according to a story circulated by the Associated Press.

The Uninvited Ombudsman notes however that:

Why a million doses of vaccine would be recalled if it was not a health threat was unexplained, and reporters failed to ask the top U.S. health official.

The AP did report that because of the "inconvenience," the Merck production line will be shut down for nine months. "It's likely that there's going to be a shortage of this product," a Merck spokeslady said. Shortages typically trigger price increases.
