Vaccine Will Save Us!

We sure are glad THAT'S over!

Uhh, mebbe.

I suspect the virus problem will persist for quite some time Willie.

Even with a vaccine, because of all the unknowns:
Will it work on everyone, or be equally effective,
For a long time or a short time or any time at all,
Won't know real results until it's tested on millions of us,
What will the side effects be, if any, for everyone,
How long will its protection last, for each person,
Will it be effective on all strains of the virus,
What sort of shelf life will the chemicals in it have,
How much of the top secret proprietary expensive formula can we see,
How fast will the virus mutate,
How many anti-vaxers will there be, and what effect will they have,
Will you trust Dr. Fauci, the smartest man in the world,
Or what the mess media (sic) tells you,
How much legislative power will Fauci be granted, since he has none,
I've got to get back to my iso booth now.
What should I do with my (theoretically) virus-infested mask --
no not the disposable paper one, the washable cloth one, oh, that one too...
The instruction book didn't say.

Trump WINS on Obamacare

Media Gets It Wrong Again

Greatest Head Fake in a Decade

The lamestream media told you:

“GOP Concedes Defeat on Health Care Bill”!  –USA Today
“Major Defeat” –NY Times
“Trump Tastes Failure” –Reuters
“acute embarrassment” –CNN
Dems Win on Obamacare!” –Nobody.

The Uninvited Ombudsman notes however that:

The world has now moved on, could Trump have planned it this way? Such prescience, such short public memory, could the president have done this deliberately? You remember how they attacked the president like a bunch of rabid animals.

Or was it really his Secret Plan A: Introduce a flawed complex bill on short notice, without adequate time for review, insist on rapid action, stir up frenzied opposition from your own team, on top of sound and fury from the usual suspects, watch the bill sink, just walk away, problem solved. Yes, solved.

The stickiest, ugliest partisan agenda item in Congress has evaporated. Obamacare remains standing, unscathed. Democrats win, their signature achievement untouched! Now, masterfully, when Obama’s hallmark collapses because it’s everything the Dems won’t admit and experts can’t escape, who gets blamed? Even the alt-left media can’t pin this on the current administration. It’s holy OBAMAcare, Batman.

The Facts

Health insurance isn’t health care. Neither one is in the Constitution. Go look, they’re not. The U.S. Supreme Court can declare the Affordable Care Act constitutional all it wants, even contradict itself in doing so (by calling a tax not a tax, then reversing itself, and then ignoring the hypocritical double standard, NFIB v. Sebelius, 2012) but that doesn’t make it truly legitimate. The Court acts inconsistently a lot.

Congress has no legitimate delegated authority to run the practice of medicine, we all know that (along with the fact they’re eminently unqualified). The same for insurance. When Obama usurped power to abscond with nearly a fifth of the U.S. economy, and attempted to have federal agents run what doctors do, we realized we were on a road to perdition. From two billion dollars for a simple computer database (promised at $93 million) to a bill we had to pass to find out what’s in it, the Democrat’s ACA was bad before it began. Now, under Trump’s watch, we’ll get to see just how bad. That’s a win.

You can thank whatever you pray to that some Republicans lost in their misguided attempt to takeover medicine. If what they’ve been saying is true—Obamacare is an abject disaster about to collapse—let go for Pete’s sake! Why save it? Think about the conniptions left-wing media is going to have then, with no one to blame but... Bush?

States are down to single insurers because health-care firms are hemorrhaging to death. Some counties have hit zero. Insurers can’t afford to stay put with the “savings” they’re not getting. The public is outraged by massive premiums increases... but at least their services have tanked. So many people didn’t get to enjoy the lie of “keep your own doctor,” how do you think they’ll vote after the media-praised Democrat plan implodes?

If Republicans understood this, they would have hastened its demise, not struggled to take it over. From its ashes a fabulous fresh Phoenix can effloresce. Watch the withered remains of a self-immolated illegal confiscation of our medical practice force quick clean repeals of its festering guts. Emergency triage can facilitate change, with natural free-market selection driving activity. People will demand it, not fight it.

You should be able to buy insurance policies, period. Like products, because they are. Like you do for your car, or home, with options. If any laws are needed, they are repeals—of restrictions on your freedom to shop. That sort of protectionism has no place in this nation—it’s not a health-care thing.

Here’s a scenario. When the first few states finally bottom out, and people have zero coverage or options, a big-dog insurer or two will tell their agents, damn the torpedoes, sell policies. They’ll tell their government overlords, have your lawyers talk to our lawyers, see you in court, for the next decade. While they rake in billions providing excellent customer service.

Nothing real prevents insurers from offering juicy terms like pre-existing-condition coverage (for a price), stay on your parents’ plan (as long as you like, to any age, rates and conditions apply), low monthly rates (with high deductibles, your option). Poor people have poor-people options, not the working stiff’s teat.

Insurers all want your business, and will fight to get it, offering you everything from free large-screen TVs to the specific conditions that suit you. You might even do what my healthy friend Erica does (not her real name, she’s afraid to use it in this sorta free country). Pay doctors cash money for service. She gets excellent prices, top-of-the-line practice and the docs like her. A lot. No monthly fees at all.

When Obamacare goes away because it must, Republicans—and you—will finally realize the enormous win America just endured. Which state will be first? Tennessee is virtually there now apparently. Pinal County, Arizona, has hit zero providers. Next is the domino effect. Alt-left media like The New York Times, the TV networks, CNN and the rest will be embarrassed beyond recognition for lambasting the president for his “defeat.” They were defeated, but they’re such ideologues they don’t know it. Yet. The big question is if Trump is so sharp he planned it this way.

Ebola questions reporters need to ask

Stop me when I get to a question that makes no sense or you've heard the media ask already:

Why didn't president Obama seek out a broad coalition of troops before sending our soldiers to fight the Ebola virus?

What was Obama's basis for seeking to fight it unilaterally, deploying troops without Congressional approval?

Why exactly did he need an extra 1,000 troops to fight the virus, so soon after the first deployment?

Are Russia or Communist China sending in troops to fight the virus?

Why do you send military troops to fight a virus?

When do our troops come home? Is there a rotation schedule?

Do they have to be quarantined for 21 days when they do come home?

What's the plan for troops who come back and have Ebola?

Has the Veterans Administration been prepared for handling Ebola cases?

Is your confidence in their ability to do so as high as your confidence in the CDC?

What's the CDC procedure for cleaning vomit off a street where an Ebola patient has vomited?

Is it true a guy in shorts and a t-shirt hosed Ebola vomit into a Dallas sewer?

How long can Ebola virus survive in a Dallas sewer? (wrong question)

Does anyone know how long Ebola virus can survive in a Dallas sewer? (that's rhetorical: the answer is no; Can things living in the sewer transmit the virus?)

If the CDC is so well prepared why did they leave that patient's Ebola-tainted stuff sit for days in his apartment with his family members? Please don't duck this question.

Would it be fair to say that the CDC isn't as prepared as many spokespeople say they are?

Are all American cities as prepared as people say the CDC over in Atlanta, Georgia is?

---

The Dallas mayor said on national TV all the people in the apartment complex were communicated with, yet the people there said on national TV no one told them anything, why didn't you question him about that?

Anderson Cooper on CNN said the apartment residents spoke many different languages, who translated for the mayor? Why didn't you ask him?

Why did so many people there sit outside mere feet away, with their kids, as we saw on TV, while the room was hosed out with the doors open and fumes sprayed out? Is this standard CDC procedure? Can we have a copy of those procedures?

The Dallas mayor said the tainted goods were treated with bleach, is bleach effective on the virus?

What treatments are available for Ebola patients, and why haven't you reported on that yet?

What's the actual medical test for Ebola virus?

How long does the test take, and who can conduct the test?

How do you dispose of all the gear that comes in contact with Ebola?

Why can't you get Ebola from someone who is pre-symptomatic?

Does that imply a blood transfusion from, or sex with, a pre-symptomatic person would be fine? Why not?

How many cities have a company that can properly quarantine an apartment complex?

Who issues the permits for that?

How did Dallas find the clean-up company it decided to use? Is there another one in town?

Who would you use in Phoenix (or pick a city)?

---

Is measuring a person's temperature with an infrared thermometer, as we see airport staff in Liberia doing on TV, a positive test for Ebola?

If a person has no temperature but carries the virus, is it safe for them to board a flight to the U.S.?

If a person has no temperature does that mean it's safe to have sex with them?

How many people per hundred thousand have a non-Ebola fever (or diarrhea or vomiting) on an average day?

If a person has a fever (or diarrhea or vomiting) is that grounds for isolating them for 21 days? Is that legal?

How did the cameraman for NBC get the disease? Why hasn't this question been answered already? What treatment can he get in the U.S. that he can't get somewhere else?

Tell us about the U.S. patent on the Ebola virus. Why hasn't that been covered already?

How exactly does Ebola kill a person?

How long does it typically take from onset of Ebola symptoms for death to occur?

How long can the virus live in airborne droplets of bodily fluid, like from a sneeze?

Does the Ebola virus die instantaneously in air, or in a nanosecond, microsecond, seconds, and how do you know that?

Why isn't there any supply of the experimental drug ZMapp? Has ZMapp been proven effective?

Tell us about other drugs they're testing and how much supply there is.

How are you authorizing human testing of new drugs without clinical safety trials. Is this legal?

What's happening in Brussels, Belgium, where the first patient landed and changed planes?

Where is the ambulance the patient was transported in, how is that being disinfected?

I could keep asking questions like this but I suspect your patience is wearing thin.

Do you get the idea that reporters aren't asking relevant questions? Why is that? Didn't they go to journalism school? What do they teach them in there? Am I being to cynical for you?

Have a nice day. Namaste.

U.S. Pledges Billions It Doesn't Have

The lamestream media told you:

http://latino.foxnews.com/latino/health/2013/12/02/president-obama-pledges-100-million-to-find-hivaids-cure/

WASHINGTON (AP) -- President Barack Obama announced a new initiative at the National Institutes of Health in pursuit of a cure for HIV, saying his administration is redirecting $100 million into the project to find a new generation of therapies...

Obama made the announcement Monday at a White House event marking World AIDS Day, which was Sunday -- and as health leaders and philanthropists gathered in Washington to determine how to replenish the major global health fund that combats AIDS and two of the world's other leading killers in low-income countries.

http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=251445070

In other news, Kerry pledged $32.5 million, including up to $18 million for Vietnam that will include five fast patrol boats for its Coast Guard. With the new contribution, U.S. maritime security assistance to the region will exceed $156 million over the next two years, he said.

Kerry said the new assistance was not a "quickly conceived reaction to any events in the region" but rather a "gradual and deliberate expansion" of U.S. support as part of the Obama administration's broader decision to refocus attention on the Asia-Pacific.

The Uninvited Ombudsman notes however that:

Where does all this money come from? Isn't Congress supposed to be involved in things like this? Don't these "reporters" even ask about that, instead of just telling the public the money is flying out the door? Isn't the U.S. way beyond broke, hopelessly in debt? How is it we're giving away money like this? Do any Page Nine readers remember back to when a million dollars was, like, a lot of money? They are giving away amounts of money beyond any human capacity to understand how much money it is -- and we don't even have it. Someone needs to be fired, pronto, tonto. (That's not a race joke about Indians, it's a Spanish word, look it up.)

Feds 40-Year Study Doesn't Stop Bacteria, or Feds

The lamestream media told you:

http://www.desmoinesregister.com/viewart/20131216/NEWS/312160112/FDA-plans-tougher-rule-antibacterial-soaps

WASHINGTON - After more than 40 years of study, the U.S. government said Monday it has no evidence that the anti-bacterial chemicals used in countless common soaps and washes help prevent the spread of germs, and it is reviewing research suggesting they may pose health risks.

The Uninvited Ombudsman notes however that:

Only the government (in this case the FDA) could study something for 40 frickin' years before drawing a simple conclusion. At least, taxpayers paid the salaries of these people the entire time, so they had so-called jobs.

Even as a child I learned and understood that the entire planet Earth (proper noun, takes a capital "E") is covered from edge to edge with germs and this is normal and fine.

Living in a sea of germs we develop immunities and this is healthy and good. Any attempt to destroy short-lived fast-breeding germs only kills the weak ones, leaving stronger ones behind to breed, creating new more resistant ones. It's called natural selection, a feature secularists adore so much they see it as a godless way to view humanity itself, where it barely applies at all. The AP report continues:

"The government's preliminary ["preliminary!" 40 years and it's preliminary!] ruling ["ruling"! they learn what everyone knows and they think it's a ruling!] lends new support to outside researchers who have long argued [yeah, like for 40 years] that the chemicals are, at best, ineffective and at worst, a threat to public health [like selective killing of bacteria just directly breeds stronger bacteria, everyone knows that, it's the way life works, moron]."

The rest of the article is so meshugena I can't go on: "The rule does not apply to hand sanitizers, most of which use alcohol rather than anti-bacterial chemicals." [alcohol IS a chemical, it IS anti-bacterial -- it kills bacteria, what does IS mean, have mercy.] Conclusion: you should drink alcohol rather than bathe in it?

The Nose Knows

The lamestream media told you:

It's unjust that everyone doesn't have health care. We should be more civilized about it, like in Canada, where everyone is covered.

The Uninvited Ombudsman notes however that:

"An elderly Canadian couple owns a townhouse on my street in Scottsdale, Ariz., and uses it for a winter residence.  As I was standing in my driveway recently on a 109-degree day, a woman I didn't recognize came out of the house, walked over, and introduced herself as the daughter of the couple.  The forty-something woman was staying at the house with her younger brother, who was recuperating from having half his nose removed in cancer surgery at a local hospital.

"After commiserating with the woman, I asked why he didn't have the surgery in his native country of Canada.  She said that because of the long wait times for diagnosis and treatment in Canada, the cancer wasn't diagnosed in time to avoid the gruesome surgery and would have spread and killed him if he had waited for treatment at home.   It was better to pay for the surgery out of their own pockets, she said, than take a chance in their home country.

"When I expressed shock over this, she shocked me even more with what she said next.  With a shrug of the shoulders, she said, 'Oh well, at least everyone has health insurance in Canada.'

"My God!  Think of the brainwashing and caving-in to collectivism behind that statement.  Her brother just had half his nose removed with his life hanging in the balance, and had to run from the system or die, but hey, it's for the good of the collective so it's okay." -- by Mencken’s Ghost, June 27, 2012. Thanks Craig.

America does not need Canadian-style health insurance.

Osama Bin Laden Is Dead

The lamestream media told you:

Osama Bin Laden Is Dead. Osama Bin Laden Is Dead. Osama Bin Laden Is Dead. Osama Bin Laden Is Dead. Osama Bin Laden Is Dead. Osama Bin Laden Is Dead. Osama Bin Laden Is Dead. Osama Bin Laden Is Dead. Osama Bin Laden Is Dead. Osama Bin Laden Is Dead. Osama Bin Laden Is Dead. Osama Bin Laden Is Dead. Osama Bin Laden Is Dead. Osama Bin Laden Is Dead. Osama Bin Laden Is Dead.

The Uninvited Ombudsman notes however that:

The U.S. reporting on the apparent death of Osama Bin Laden was disgraceful. A single fact was used for endless hours of repetitious and vacuous reporting. No new news is big news to the “news” media, once big news is released.

The U.S. public was treated to thousands of repetitious images of a vile criminal smiling, shooting guns, holding meetings, teaching, walking -- it was a horrendous tribute to a horrendous criminal, remorselessly played for the public ad nauseum. The repetitious-image approach mimicked the "reporting" of the suspect in the Tucson shooting of Gabrielle Giffords for reasons that were unclear at press time.

Images of Navy Seals training, shooting, swimming, running, deploying in multiple environments from multiple departure vehicles --  the real heroes in the event -- were not shown, because there was no time left after all the stock images of the dead guy day after day, according to experts.

No facts emerged for days, especially the most important facts that were immediately available -- the reaction of Osama's supporters -- vicious and dedicated muslim enemies of the U.S. in nearly 70 nations.

We do know that when the twin towers were attacked in 2001, our muslim arch-enemies, who Mr. Obama assures us we are not at war with, were dancing in the streets and giving out candy. Virtually no muslim stood up to condemn the attack back then, casting doubt on Obama's Osama assertions.

According to at least half of America, Mr. Obama may believe we are not at war with muslims, but muslims believe they are at war with us.

Rumors of Americans now going about fully armed all the time, to deter possible muslim reprisals cannot be confirmed, since smartly armed people do not give up tactical advantage easily.

Al Jazeera TV, available to anyone with an Internet connection, ate the U.S. media's lunch on the issue. While American talking heads were speculating and pontificating, and congratulating themselves on the glorious but ten-year-late victory, Al Jazeera was on the ground in muslim country after muslim country, covering what's going on in the belly of the beast. No grandstand cheering could be found from the religion of peace, now that its most prominent figure was apparently disposed of and, in true Mafia style, turned into fish bait.

Contrary to the words of Mr. Obama, Osama bin laden was not brought to justice, a tasteful euphemism preferred by girliemen in a position of power. He was put to death, a significant difference, especially to the dead person, according to leading experts who refused to be identified. The same experts point out that Obama's Osama victory was due in large measure to Obama's predecessors. Obama's actions in office actually severely weakened our fight against muslims, a fact easily studied with a simple Google search (banning effective interrogations, reducing assets, changing language and terms to protect the religion of peace from oprobrium, etc.).

According to Al Jazeera sources, locals reported a heavy-duty mission underway, with multiple helicopters running with lights off. Contributors in Pakistan (pronounced pock-EE-ston according to Obama) had long believed he was long dead. No clear representation of how much ISI -- Pakistani intelligence -- were involved, and if they were, unclear what reprisals that might generate.

Real news agencies would have Arabic-speaking reporters attending mosques around the world and reporting on what was going on there, you think?

Biden Disburses Cash

The lamestream media told you:

CHISINAU, Moldova -- U.S. vice president Joe Biden, fresh off a tough speech on Russian human rights, sided firmly Friday with Moldova's Europe-minded leader over opponents pressing for closer ties to Moscow... As the first U.S. vice president ever to visit Moldova, he pledged $262 million in aid over five years, according to Jonathan Weisman, writing for the Wall Street Journal. The story got coverage from most lamestream outlets in America.
http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748703597804576194534027327912.html

The Uninvited Ombudsman notes however that:

An exhaustive study shows that vice president Joe Biden lacks any power or authority whatsoever to promise money to, well, anyone, actually, including tiny Moldova, the poorest country in Europe, which may seek to become a member of the failing European Union.

The U.S. Constitution delegates spending to acts of Congress, and Congress did not act, or reportedly even know about the vice president's plan to abscond with more than a quarter billion dollars of taxpayer funds and give them away. The former communist-dominated nation has untold numbers of former communists still in power, a point which went unmentioned in "news" coverage.

No arrests have been made or are expected, and no investigation is planned because, "He's the vice president for Pete's sake," according to one unnamed co-conspirator, confirming remarks from three bureaucrats who will be writing the checks to Moldova, using your money and mine. Public outrage among U.S. citizens, well, there wasn't any, because it happens so often the public has grown weary.

Time.com reported that: "Anyone living within firing range of Biden's route through the capital city, Chisinau, was ordered to lock up their guns. Manhole covers were soldered shut to make sure no bad guys could spring from the sewers. Volunteers handed out little American flags..."
http://www.time.com/time/world/article/0,8599,2058593,00.html

Healthcare Poll Nonsense

The lamestream media told you:

Steven Thomma, writing for the McClatchy newspaper chain says, "A majority of Americans want Congress to keep the new health-care law or actually expand it, despite Republican claims that they have a mandate from the people to kill it, according to a new McClatchy Newspapers-Marist poll. The post-election survey indicated that 51 percent of registered voters want to keep the law or change it to do more... http://tinyurl.com/3yy6fav

The Uninvited Ombudsman notes however that:

Polls like this are nonsense on their face, since even the members of Congress who signed the gigantic bill don't know what's in it. Asking people what they think of something they know nothing about is scandalous just on logical grounds.

Reporting about a bogus and manipulative propaganda effort like this might have merit. Using it as a news story, to provide support for a politician's waning popularity, is as serious an ethical breech as
flat out lying. The all-too-common reporter excuse that, "I accurately reported what the survey said," is no excuse and just adds to the embarrassing humiliation that has become U.S. "news."

It's not known if the reporter helping to perpetrate the hoax was aware of how bad this is, or if he was duped just like his readers. It was not known at press time if any of the survey respondents could name even a dozen of the hundreds of provisions in the massive bill they say they like, or describe even a single item in it with any degree of accuracy.
